Dear iPrayerLady,

Summer is in full swing now and it is getting very Hot in Here! I hope you will stop and sit awhile and just enjoy the nice weather before it get so bad out that we all are hiding inside again!!

We have a couple of very sad ones today. Thanks for taking the time to read these and say a prayer over these ladies.

If you want to be taken off the list, let me know at any time. :-)

Requests and Updates:

Update: Thank you for the prayers. Debbie passed away at 4 this morning. My coworker said that this was the most painful ordeal she's experienced and that said she didn't know where it came from, but she felt stronger than she ever has throughout this entire time of helping her sister. The prayers for strength worked.... Please continue to pray for peace and comfort for those Debbie left behind.

Request: For my friend Beverly- Her niece was pregnant and overdue by a week. They found out on Saturday that the baby had no heartbeat and she delivered a beautiful 8 lb baby girl yesterday without a heartbeat. This is a very tough time for the whole family, so please lift them up as well.

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Request: Vacation Bible School has already begun across the country and every week for the next about 8 weeks there will be churches really around the World holding VBS. Let's pray that God will move in amazing ways in the hearts and lives of the kids and volunteers who attend and work!!

Request: Speaking of Vacation Bible School.... Forestpark VBS is next week and we are all running around trying to accomplish LOTS of stuff before Monday night at 6pm. Please pray for everyone involved and especially the kids and teens who will be participating and for parents who are trying to work out how to get them there!!

Request: We learned yesterday that one of the men in our Honduras MotoCross Camp we held on the Mission Trip last September was killed in an accident. His bike went into a river. Here some of the blog from the FCA:

By now you may have heard about the passing of Gustavo Vega. At an extreme race, his bike went into the river. Pedro and others were able to find and pull him out and give him CPR. He revived, but went into a coma and died 7 days later.

We never know what a day will bring, we do not know when it will be our time. I've got so much to do and I haven't had time to devote to getting this trip together, but I've let the immediate overtake the important. I don't know what effect camp had on Gustavo's life last year - maybe you do. Let us know on the facebook page. .

What I do know is that we made the gospel known to him and many others in way that perhaps no one else in Honduras could do - on a dirt bike.
