Prayer for Melody
Prayer Warriors: One of the Ladies from our church, Melody, is at Suburban Hospital. She has found out very suddenly this weekend that she has Leukemia. They don't have any real details about that yet. She is still bleeding heavily as well. She had no idea previous to Friday that anything was wrong. She homeschools her 3 girls, so their Dad has had to scramble to sort everything out. Looks like the girls (Age 5, 7, and 9 I think) will be staying with their Grandparents for awhile. This is probably very scary for them too. They have also lost their grandfather recently as well. |

Results 1of 2 test are back:
Melody has APL (acute promyelocytic leukemia) which is a subtype of AML (acute myeloid leukemia). The results from the AML are not back. This is a malignancy of the bone marrow. The dr spoke positive and said that he hopes the second test comes back negative. If it is positive, that would not be good news. I'm just learning all about this. I feel Melody has a long road ahead of her. Keep the prayers going. She seemed to take the news calmly and again asked for prayers. -
For those of you at FPCC, this is the wife of Eddie and the mother of Riley, Lilly, and Ellie Grace. Also, Eddie is one of Trey's best friends.

Biopsy was done yesterday around 5. No word on the results. She has had to have 2 platelet transfusions also. Thank you for your continued prayers.

To all my prayer warriors
Our friend Melody is at Suburban Hospital. Her white cell count and hemoglobin count is very low. Now her platelet count Is low She is now on her second blood transfusion from all the blood she has lost. They have her scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy later today. She is very scared and asked for prayers. Please keep Melody in your prayers. I will keep you updated. Thank you
