Ok, so...Happy 4th of July! Or well, I suppose it's the 7th of July. :-)
I've been delayed in writing because of some requests of my own that had me too involved to stop and write!
First, My Grandmother was taken to the hospital for 16 days, then to rehab, then she got rushed to the hospital again a few days ago, but is much better now and we were told earlier that she should be released tomorrow back to the rehab facility! Big relief!! But, I suppose that's the first request too! Please keep her and my family on your list as we try to negotiate visiting her and her doctors, with our own daily lives! Plus, that she would continue to get stronger everyday!
In the middle of all that, Sam's Mom had a scare while she was taking a mini vacation for her anniversary, where she started having chest pains! They did blood work and ended up sending her home by helicopter, only to decide that everything was ok after all!
This next request ties right into that one!
Request: Sam's Uncle David, his Mom's brother, was on vacation in Gainsville, FL when he began feeling strange and was taken to the ER where they told him he is having irregular heartbeats. After a heart cath, they decided there was no clear reason for this, and so are having him stay there a few days. Also, he usually checks in on his mother at an assisted living facility regularity, so Sam's Mom has been driving down to Cave City frequently to do this herself, which is quite a drive back and forth!
Request: A young couple that is friends of Heather, an iPrayer Lady in Texas, have gone into labor at 18 weeks into the pregnancy earlier today. No word from them yet.
Request: Taylor's Uncle passed away Friday morning early from a long battle with brain cancer. To add to the stress, they were living out of state at the time. They were talking about having to bring him back here first, which she said would've cost nearly $5000! So, instead they decided to have him cremated. A lot of intense decisions to make at a difficult time.
Request: There are a few unspoken requests, but if you will lift them up it will help, even without the details!
A little personal Request: For the 5th? 7th? time since I got this house in 2000, water is dripping down from the ceiling in my downstairs bathroom. Historically this has lead to repairs from $60 to two times a total redo of the plumbing for thousands. So, a tiny bit of prayer from one or two pray-ers could't hurt!!
I'm also praying for safety for you all as summer continues! Buckle Up and Don't Run at the Pool! ��
