Request: Shannon- My father is going into the hospital for surgery tomorrow. I will be spending most of the day with my mom at the hospital while we wait it out. He's expected to be in the hospital for 2-3 days. This is due to his prostate cancer
Update on the Sick Birthday Boy: Not great news. Dr called his hemoglobin is low from consistently loosing small amount of blood . Should be 11-13 his is 8.7
Sedimentation rate should be less than 10 his is 69. Something else should be less than 10 his is 27. She says give Imodium & vitamins with iron & see pediatric gastroenterologist for colonoscopy & biopsy when we get back.
I've already given the Imodium a couple times didn't make a difference. But hopefully giving it twice a day consistently will help.
