iPrayer Back 2 School

Back 2 School Well tomorrow is the big day! For Jefferson County Public Schools anyway! Thomas and Grace and all the Christian Academy students started back last week, and Indiana went back the week before! Request: for all the students who are headed into another long school year! (Teachers too!) Request: Nancy's Mother fell and broke her hip, and made it through surgery. But now she's is having a very rough time. She is very confused and combative about her surroundings and wanting to go home. I just got this text from Nancy: i asked how she was doing: "Exhausted! Mother is very restless due to pain.Trying not to give pain meds too often.She may have to have MRI if new med does not help Please pray she gets relief & rests peacefully tonight. Thanks!

Update And Request

New Request And Update Request: Shannon- My father is going into the hospital for surgery tomorrow. I will be spending most of the day with my mom at the hospital while we wait it out. He's expected to be in the hospital for 2-3 days. This is due to his prostate cancer Update on the Sick Birthday Boy: Not great news. Dr called his hemoglobin is low from consistently loosing small amount of blood . Should be 11-13 his is 8.7 Sedimentation rate should be less than 10 his is 69. Something else should be less than 10 his is 27. She says give Imodium & vitamins with iron & see pediatric gastroenterologist for colonoscopy & biopsy when we get back. I've already given the Imodium a couple times didn't make a difference. But hopefully giving it twice a day consistently will help. Enjoy your vacation?! Visit Our Website

iPrayer Request Urgent

A Happier Birthday Please Urgent Request from frightened Mom: Prayers please! I have a very sick little boy, we are halfway to the beach in a hotel, a today is his birthday! :-( We are currently in Asheville NC headed to Charleston SC today on vacation. My 6 year old started running a fever last night! He still has diarrhea from July 27!   He woke up to go potty around midnight & when His Dad checked on him, he was standing in the bathroom covered in poop from the waist down! He didnt even know it happened. We've called his pediatrician & are waiting to hear back. Nurse says as long as his fever came down & abdominal pain goes away after he poops & he is not dehydrated, then to call office in the morning & get results of tests we had done at kosair. Dr can determine what else needs to happen. There is a childrens hospital & an immediate care center & pharmacy all within 15 minutes of the hotel.
