Week of 9/13-9/19

Request #19/9/10 - Allison - the next 2 days are going to be so rough. Visitation tomorrow & funeral Friday... for one of Misty's friends, (about 4th grade).... that i used to see 2 to 3 times a week... how do you process the loss of someone the same age as your child????

Request #2:  9/11/10 Sara - I just got home from Kosair with my nephew Kris. He has a torn MCL and will be out for at least 4 weeks.

Request #3: 9/17/10 MJ - My Mom found out today that she has to have her gall bladder removed tomorrow! She had been having stomach pains and nausea for awhile, and this past Tuesday she was up all night long with pain and getting sick! Finally today she went in to the doctor, and he sent her to get an ultrasound of her gall bladder. They've kept her overnight. Update: Mom had her surgery Saturday morning and it went great! They said it was just in time! She got home at 8:30pm last night and doesn't even have to go back for a check up until 2 weeks from now!

Request #4: From another Prayer List: In July we launched an effort to pray for Frank Schwendeman, a Lexingtonian who has worked tirelessly for decades on behalf of life and who had just been diagnosed with a very serious cancer.  Shortly after we all prayed for Frank, a much better prognosis came forth. Let us pray afresh for Frank as a Body, AND let us all also pray for those we each know who are wrestling with cancer –Our God is able and He is at work!  We can do our part in prayer with the faith He has given us . . . and let us trust Him to do His part and amaze us all. Who knows? We might just see what we all long to see . . .

Request #5: 9/15 Ron - I am writing to ask all of you to Pray for Donna. She and her long time boyfriend got married two weeks ago, two days after they got back from there honeymoon he had a massive heart attack.  He past away at 6:00am this morning.  I know you all fell in love with her as we love her, so please keep her in your Prayers.
