Yesterday was the last day of our Vacation Bible School! We had a total of 90 kids and youth participate! There were 17 Middle School and High Schoolers in that number, who came out and worked, and 12 of the 90 are Pre-K. On top of that, we had as many as 39 Adults helping out on one night. Everyone felt that it was a great success. Now I feel myself turning around to see what is left of summer. Luckily, it turns out there are about 3 weeks left before school starts....Wait, THREE Weeks? Good Grief. Oh well. :-) I have been receiving prayer requests that I need to pass on. Please send me anything else you want to go out as well! I hope your last 3 weeks of summer are relaxing and fun...and not too hot! -Mary Share Tweet Forward Request: From Kim: I received a text from a friend. His 1 year old granddaughter was diagnosed with Leukemia and they are doing a bone marrow transplant tomorrow at Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. Her name is Rylee. Request: From Lisa: Please be praying for my family. My Dad is in the hospital and has terminal cancer. He has anywhere between a couple weeks to a few months to live. He has been in the hospital since June 12. He has lung, lymph node, and skin cancer. The skin cancer is taking over his body, moving into the skull and brain. He also has Cdiff, MRSA and colitis. Please pray for his peace and comfort. This has been hard on him and my family. We have several decisions to make regarding his care. Would you please pray for wisdom and the Lord's mercy to endure this time?   History: Lisa's mother passed away from cancer earlier this year, just about a month before Lisa's wedding. Also, Lisa has a twin sister, Lesli.
