Arrival in Atlanta

They finally arrived safely in their hotel in Atlanta at 10:30pm. They missed the first night of Forward but were there ready to go for tomorrow!!!

Back on Track

Back on Track!!!

They have just now gotten on the new bus, 5 hours later!!!

Forward started at 6pm and they are 3 hours away still, but moving again at least!

Thanks for the prayers!!

Long Wait at the BP

Long wait at the BP

So the Chatanooga bus didn't workout and the bus company is sending a bus from HERE!! They are mostly in the bus which still has air conditioning whereas the BP Gas Station does not!!

:-(

More when I have news.

btw- very sorry to those of you who are not from Forestpark, but this is the easiest way to pass these on!

Bus on the Way

Bus on the way

Charter bus is on the way from Chatanooga to pick up the youth group! Should be there in around an hour.

Broken Bus!

Broken Bus!

Please pray for the Teens on the Forward trip. Everyone is fine but the bus broke down from over heating!! They are all ok and in East TN on I24, Shelbyville TN.

It cooled enough to drive to a a station and they are waiting to see if a bus from Chattanooga can finish the trip for them!

I will send an update when I have it.

They all probably think it's great...camp songs and charades time!

In all honesty though, it's pretty hot out there!

Welcome FPCC Ladies! LOTS of Updates!!

I want to welcome the ladies of Forestpark Church who are just signing on for the first time! A little mini-advertisement went out with the church e-newsletter this week about our group! There was even a link and a brief excerpt of me rambling about losing my computer...gee how spiritual...anyway... :-) We are really glad you are here!!

If you want to join our email list send me a note to: iprayerlady@doowop.com, or click on our link over at the side here. :-) I send them fairly randomly, sorry, but sometimes I get super busy and don't have time to send them, then other times we have 10-12 requests back to back! I will say, any urgent requests, and many updates never reach this website, they only go out to the mailing list.

Any ladies, anywhere can get on the mailing list, and don't worry we are really careful about not using last names, and sometimes not even first names!!

Update #1: My kids both finished swimming class smiling believe it or not! Of course that might be because they knew it was finally over....

Update #2: My friend's custody hearing is over, and everyone is just waiting now to hear from the judge on Monday....praying for peace for the families, and mercy + wisdom from the courts!

Update #3: Denise's hernia surgery went well. We need to pray for a very quick recovery (this is her 8th surgery for hernias!) and that this will be her last one!

Update #4: Angela's procedure went well she said, but now they have scheduled another test down the road. Ugg.

Update #5: My co-worker who was in the car accident is back to work today, and there were a few things that got cleared up about the story, but none that really made it any better! It was his left side that was hit, and although the majority of the skin was not actually removed as I had at first heard, it was cut in a crescent shape from the top middle of his forehead down, following his nose and under his eye, and the eye is totally swollen shut. But they think he will recover well. He said they brought a plastic surgeon in to do the face work. The actual truck that hit his car is what hit his face! It went through his window and physically hit him. They said he also had blunt-force trauma from that. There were 2 other friends in the car as well, they both sound like they are ok. The one guy who was in the front thought that my co-worker had died when he saw him, and began panicking. We should lift him up as well, what an awful thing to endure!! Whew. Amazing they are alive, much less up and walking!!

Request & Praise: A 14 year old daughter, of a co-worker of one of our ladies, left a note to her parents today that she "needed to get away for awhile" and that she was "staying with a friend" and "would be safe." She had run away! They went into a frantic search calling in internet police, friends, family, etc, trying to decide if she had possibly run out of town to meet someone she met online recently. The Praise is that she was found VERY Quickly, and hadn't gotten out of town yet. The Request is that she is clearly in need of some help from several sides. :-(

That's it for now!!

Send me things you want prayer for, people you hear from that need prayer, or events etc.

We try to stick to actual people or situations we have some personal contact with just to save space here and not get overwhelmed! But obviously many times it is the "cousin of the sister of my friend" or something, God cares about them too! We usually don't share stuff like: "some lady I heard about on tv in Cleveland." However, if you really have a feeling that the Lord is calling you to pray for her, then by all means! Send her on and we will all help!! :-)

Great to see our circle expanding ladies!!! Keep sharing with your friends and as always, keep on praying!!

iPrayer 6/5/12

Summer is here, but it's not hot in Louisville! Cold enough I had to switch to a sweater just to sit outside today with the kids! Well, I suppose technically it's still Spring for another couple of weeks....

I have to admit that one prayer has already been answered before we even start! Otherwise you would not be receiving this email! I've needed to write to you all for more than a week, but....

I had looked EVERYWHERE (I thought) for my mini-laptop! It is the only computer I use at home! Anyway, having totally given up looking for the computer, I asked Sam if I could borrow his later. Just then, I glanced down beside the couch and realized that I could see the edge of the case for the computer. It was under a little plastic briefcase. I picked up the briefcase and underneath was the computer case. But it was empty! Then I saw the charger, still plugged in, but attached to nothing! I showed Sam and was amazed. Suddenly I looked again at that dumb briefcase...why was is so heavy? Sure enough, I opened it up and there was the tiny laptop, stashed inside by...Grace? I don't know, but needless to say, I was both annoyed and thrilled. Ah well...joys of kids!

Two of these requests are for tomorrow, so one way or the other I had to email this out!!

By the way, just a housekeeping thing, I am going to try to send you all a test email soon from a service called Constant Contact, which will make these look much cooler, but more importantly, it should make it so I can zip out an email to everyone at the same time from anywhere, even my phone! We will see! You may have to click on "allow images from this person" or something to really get it to work....

Not on our email list? Send me a note to: iprayerlady@doowop.com and I will add you to the mailing list, then you too can be one of the first to know when prayer is needed! Many times urgent requests and updates are only shared to the mailing list!

Let's start with a prayer, feel free to read it (or skip it) and then say your own, you don't need my help! Anyone who has seen the amazing results of God's work through your diligent (and sometimes hurried :-) ) prayer can tell you these ladies are Prayer Warriors!!!

Lord God, I just want to lift up these ladies to You tonight. You are the only One who knows when each person will open this site, which one will be close it without really reading, which will be read and forgotten, and which will be prayed over repeatedly. But we pray together Lord, with one purpose and with one heart over time and space, to You, the One True God. We love You and ask that Your Holy Spirit would guide us and help us to know what to pray and remind us to lift up these requests again when it is time. Thank You for allowing us to be used in this amazing way. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.

Request #1: My friend who we have so many times prayed for, who has been slammed this year with a divorce, his wife's remarriage, announcement that she is pregnant again from this person, and then her decision that she is taking the kids and moving far away, has his big court hearing tomorrow, Wednesday June 6th. His lawyer has given him little hope that the courts will side with him. To the outside observer it appears that she is the one who has a "stable" home life. The truth, that he had to sell their home when she moved out, that she left him, etc etc, will likely not be recognized. All their "friends" who might speak for him, were really her friends. All the kids' teachers worked with her. But yet, in all this, he does not give up. Planning today to go get a haircut etc. I promised we would pray. He does not know God, but God knows him, and his heart, and these 3 sweet kids.

Request #2: Tomorrow a close friend of Derema's, Denise, is having a hernia repair. This is another of SEVERAL repairs and it is so frustrating for her family. Let's pray that this is fixed once and for all, and that she will have a very fast recovery. Also for her teenage daughter and husband.

Request #3: A coworker was in a car accident yesterday which (if you are weak stomached skip this part) literally peeled back a corner of his face on the right side!! He had lots of stitches, and they say the eye will be fine, which I'm told is shocking to believe if you look at him. More amazingly, he plans to work tomorrow!

Request #4: Shannon, who we have prayed for before on this, finally found out some info from her tests about the stomach pain she has been having! Here is her report to us: (I asked if I could share her email and she said "share away!"
"I have three ulcers in my stomach, some kind of infection in my colon (suppose to take major antibiotics for it) and have been diagnosed with Barret's esophagus... No dysplasia at this point, but have to get scoped in 6 months to see how things are going."

Request #5: Also from Shannon's email: "As for my dad, he is monitoring the cancer every three months right now. No surgery or radiation at this point."

Request #6: My Thirty-One lady, Angela asked for prayer as well. Here is her email:
"I am having a procedure tomorrow. It's just my stomach. Remember, they thought that I had cancer but after the CT and biopsy we have found that it isn't! THANK GOD! So now I am undergoing MANY procedures to find out WHAT it is. Please keep me in your prayers as I am very nervous about being put under. Ugh."

Request #7: Ok, make fun, but I have to ask for this: Thomas and Grace are in swim lessons for 30 minutes each day this week. She is at 9am and he is at 9:40. But so far, Grace has had one lesson yesterday (we managed to oversleep today) in which she spent half the time refusing to get in, and Thomas has had 2. Today he was so frightened that he was practically having a panic attack in the water! I really really want them to be able to at least tread water and not become hysterical, because they are both old enough to be in a situation where they may need to know! I just hate making them do this when they are so totally terrified! Tonight at dinner Thomas kind of absent mindedly said "I don't really like swimming lessons. Oh, I already said that like a million times. Sorry." And he laughed nervously. I told him it was alright, it was because it is on his mind that he doesn't want to go tomorrow. :-(

Request #8: Our Vacation Bible School starts 2 weeks from yesterday and I'm still thinking of things I have to do to get ready (I'm the director this year) so I would LOVE if you took a half second to pray that all the planning, volunteering, decorating, praying etc would get done according to God's will. :-)

Request #9: I got this email from Ellen-
"Found out yesterday that mom has dementia.  She is on medication for it and doing pretty good most of the time.  At night she gets lost around the house. Can't find her bedroom etc.  Occasionally, at night she doesn't know me....  Most always thinks there are other people in the house that could help get her up when she falls.  She fell twice yesterday, at 1:30 am and again at 10:30 am....Last night she ask me if I turned her tv off because there was no picture on it.  Her tv was on and had a picture.  She was looking at the oven on her kitchen stove!  Her nurse left me a booklet to read so I'll know how to help her. Keep us in your prayers."

I'm sure there are many more. I will send updates as I get them. Thanks for your patience, this was a really long one.

Two brief requests: ( I know, no soliciting....)

We're still in need of DIAPERS size 4, 5, 6 only. Several of our clients have also asked for baby

laundry detergent and we have NONE! Thanks!

and

2) On Sunday April 30th 2012, Leo Irizarry was tragically taken from us. As a 2 year old, mildly autistic toddler, Leo had a very giving and lovable nature. He always wore a smile and loved to watch musicals and played the piano. The grieving family has a financial burden of $4,000 in funeral costs and is raising money to pay back the loan. Any gift you can give is needed and greatly appreciated. Any excess of the $4,000, will be donated to the Autism Society in
Leonardo’s name. Donations may also be given at any Louisville Fifth-Third Bank. Just mention Leo’s name.

Feel free to print it, or pass it, or pray for it! :-)

Send me any more you think of or hear.

2 More Requests

Two more requests to add to this week. :-) Thanks for your diligence!

Request #4: Lisa got the results back from her tests last week, and they are not good. :-( She found out that the cancer she beat 5 years ago has returned. "Lymphoma in neck, groin & liver area. Dr says Same stuff as before, should respond like before too." Let's pray that they can beat it again and permanently this time. Also for peace for her and her family, as I know this is a scary time.
History:  Lisa- "There is a blockage in the left carotid artery (in my neck) and I am on an aspirin a day to ward off a stroke. Just trying to see what all we are dealing with b-4 any meds or procedures.  They don’t know the percentage of the blockage yet either." but there is also good news! "Went this morning for bloodwork and echo stress tests. ( ultrasounds of your heart on treadmill etc). They have already called me back on the echo stress test and said all the chambers, arteries, and all functions of my heart are normal!!     They should have the blood test results back next week and we will see how that is!"

Request #5: A friend of mine, Tiffany, since I was about 11 years old, just found out that her Dad might have cancer. She lost her mother to cancer in the Eighth Grade, which you can imagine was life changing. Truly, the years before she died were awful too. We all remember sitting around that night waiting for the phone to ring. And when it did, I thought "it's finally over." Here is her facebook post, she is not a believer, and I think has already lost hope, before they even get the test results: " My dad just called the doctors found Nodules on his Lungs. It could b nothing it could b cancer. I'm FREAKING out!!!!!! He is getting tests n a week. And the a few days after he will get results. my dad is all I have. He can't die. I can't stop crying."

iPrayer 4/30/12

Hi!

I hope the Spring is treating you, and your house and cars....nicely! We are having a roaring wild weather spell here! Hail of all sizes in one yard, deep enough to consider practically snow!!!

Let's say a prayer before a few very sad requests, and a few great praises!

Father God,
We pray that You would allow us the couple of minutes it will take to read and respond to these requests. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to remind us of these things, remind us of who to pray for and what to say, as we go about our day. Thank you for Your constant love and attention. Thank You for always knowing what we need before we ask and for taking care of problems before we know we have them. Let us stay safe and honor You always, In Jesus Name, Amen.

Request #1: Robin sent me the sad news that her niece's good friend Rachel lost their baby last night. The 2 1/2 year old drown in a pool yesterday. :-( This is the baby boy we collected some things for awhile ago. His name was Leo. No word yet on funeral arrangements. What a sad story. I had heard this on the news, not knowing who they were, and right away said a prayer. I had hoped all would be well, as the initial report was that the child had been taken to Kosair. :-(

Request #2/Praise: Lisa- "There is a blockage in the left carotid artery (in my neck) and I am on an aspirin a day to ward off a stroke.

Request #3: From Ronnie -Just had an update from 2 doctors that are working on Billy. His triglycerides are in the 3000's, they have to do a procedure called plasmapheresis, in laymen's terms, all the fat in his blood are affecting the vessels around his brain, so this is kinda like an oil change, the have to flush all of that out to give him the best chance to survive. His cardiologist said that he may not survive all that he has been through. It's really bad! =\
History: (Billy was the music minister at our church a long time ago.) I will be giving updates on my Facebook page where you can read about Billy's progress athttp://facebook.com/helloimbarryYou do not have to be my friend to see the status updates. I have the most public profile possible.

Request #4: Lucas, a 3 year old, has been having an odd health issue, in which he goes into a asthma-type breathing issue combined with a very high fever (anywhere from 100-104) and then it will all go away again just as suddenly. It's been going on for sometime, and just as we all decide he is back to normal, here we go again. Let's pray that it will stabilize and the doctor will pinpoint what is causing it. They keep giving the "probably a viral infection" answer for a couple of years off and on.

Madness Continued...

Madness Continued...

I'm sorry ladies, I just realized I didn't add this on. This is a sign that several of you are thinking of more requests I bet. That's fine, email me and we'll send out a new letter right away!!

Request #7: One of Sam's karate students, a 14 yr old boy, very suddenly lost his father last Friday to a heart attack. There was no warning. They had gone to Cincinnati for his little sister's gymnastic event. The night before the young man and his Dad had stayed behind here in Louisville to go to the karate test. He passed his test into brown belt (1 before black belt) and then he and Dad drove up to Cincinnati. I was glad when I realized they had the drive alone to talk. Friday morning Dad woke up and went out to buy something at the store. He never came back. They found him in his car later. The 14 yr old was a pall bearer as well as standing up in front of a totally packed chapel and being one of 2 speakers. Very brave. Where do you even start to ask for prayer for this....for the family to look to God and for endurance through this year.

Thanks again!

March Madness!!

Happy March Madness!!!

I can't get over that this year is 1/4 over already! We just got the Christmas stuff out didn't we? And now it's time for the Final Four!

For those of you who aren't in Kentucky, (or who are but don't watch tv, facebook, email, or read...ok just kidding) The University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky -our two biggest local teams- are competing this Saturday night at 6pm for one of 2 places in the final game to see who is the best team in the country. Around here everything is turning Red or Blue!!!!!!!!

We have 6 requests and 2 praises (which of course always come with more requests, don't they?) Thanks for your time!

BTW: Do you know a "Prayer Panther" (as my Aunt loves to call it)? Don't want to be a Panther, how about "Prayer Partner" or "Pretty Prayer," whatever you call her, call her up or fb her or tweet her "@Panther want to pray?" or whatever, and tell her about us! Then pass me her email and I will add her to the list!

Also don't forget we have a website too! http://iprayerladies.blogspot.com/ Same things you see here, but can't hurt to pass it on!

*Just so you know, I never share this list, and there is only one other person who even has access to this account! I asked Derema early on to be our on-call Emailstress, just in case there is a major need we want to pass along at a time I can't get to the computer! Plus, we never use last names, and depending on the situation, sometimes not even first names!! So you tell your favorite prayer, she is safe with us!

Thanks again, here we go!

Request #1: An unspoken request for a iPrayer lady trying to make a big decision! Please pray that God will take care of the details and she can just follow His will and the weight she feels on her will be lifted.

Request #2: We need prayer for a friend who has suffered a great loss of a very little gift. There will be difficult decisions to make in the next few days. Please keep she and her husband and family on your mind and in your prayers.

These next 3 come to us from an iPrayer lady's Church prayer list! Thanks Robin!!

Request #3: Darrell and Leslie- Their daughter, Anna, is going to have open heart surgery for a valve replacement on Monday, April 2nd.  They would appreciate your prayers.

Request #4: Ryan and Jennifer-  Jennifer's sister, Cindy, is pregnant with her third child.  She miscarried her last child at 17 weeks.  Cindy has Factor V disease (a blood clotting disorder) and it causes complications during pregnancy.  Although the pregnancy is going well so far (she is only 11 weeks along) it is still very early.  She is supposed to be taking injections that will help her blood to not clot, however due to the cost we found out she has not started these yet.  We know her blood is clotting and she has small clots in her arms and legs already.  Please pray she will start taking the injections soon as she has family members that have given her the money for the injections.  Pray that her pregnancy goes well and that the Factor V disease does not cause problems.

Request #5: Sebastian and Marea: Marea's co-worker lost two young family members this week.  The first was a 17 year old girl, named Brittany, who died in a car accident.  The other was a 15 year old girl (I don't know her name), who committed suicide which they believe was related to a school bullying situation.  Please pray for these two families.

Request #6: Robin's Grandmother has been admitted to the hospital with MRSA and was previously diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

Praise #1: My beautiful 5 year old daughter apparently has been struggling with her vision for sometime, so through an intricate set of circumstances, I ended up getting her an appointment at the optometrist in preparation for Kindergarten next year, which is not required any longer. They caught the problem!! She is now in little pink (or purple depending on the day) glasses! Thanks to God for sending us to the professionals! Let's pray the glasses stay in one piece and truly help her vision.

Praise #2: An iPrayer lady from our group just found out that her skin cancer is NOT the dangerous kind and this can be easily removed! She will have to have several minor "surgeries" on it over the next months, but still a major praise!

Thanks for your diligence!

Just for fun: (Let the record show I am both a UK and UofLfan. But this is cute...

iPrayer Week of 3/13/12

 Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I hope everyone is safe during all this crazy weather! Grace's class has been learning about how March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb. I think it's been more like a Dragon this year than a Lion!

I have a few requests to share, which means you guys aren't collecting them and sending them to me!! So listen, watch, log-on, see who's in need of our help! :-)

Lets say a prayer together and I will leave you to it!!
Father God, we pray that Your will would be done. Help us to know who to pray for, how to pray, and what we should ask as well. We know that You are in control, all the time, everyday. We know that You Lord can take care of all of these requests without our help, but it shows honor to You for us to come to You in prayer. Thank you so much for the ability to do Your will. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Request #1: My nephew Ian has been in the hospital since Sunday afternoon with yet another asthma attack. The doctor came in a few minutes ago and said he has to stay for another breathing treatment, and if all is well he can go home. (These are every 4 hours, then they have to go through discharge so.....) Please pray that they will get out of there quickly and that his lungs will become healthy. That he will not have anymore need to stay in the hospital. They are being referred to a pediatric pulmonologist.

Request #2: An unspoken request from a sister who needs to make a big decision.

Request #3Beth- My father isn't doing well at all. He has difficulty remembering things and some days doesn't even know his family. They have even had legal trouble related to this. From Beth's Facebook: Dad's health continues to decline. Praying for him to be pain free & at peace.

Request #4: Emily- Lots of pain with her heart condition added to being fully overwhelmed with trying desperately to complete the 2 online masters degree classes she is enrolled in. She is in week 6 of 10, but in one of the two classes she if very behind in. She cannot withdraw because she is on full scholarship and if she does she will be responsible for the entire cost of the two classes instantly, and still have to pay again to take the class over! She is so very tired though.  Emily is not a believer and although she was a seeker earnestly for awhile, she has nearly given up that God knows she is there, or that He cares. Let's pray that the situation would not feel so hopeless to her and that her comment, "I just can't get well." would not prove to be true.

Praise/Request #5 (A Secret!!): Two ladies have told me they are expecting!!! One is 24 weeks (how she hid that I'll never know) and the other only about 10. Please pray for super safety for these girls and their babies!

Request #6: Let's not forget the victims of the major outbreak of tornadoes.

Praise! Amanda and Abby have moved into their new house!!

Maybe You can use it too!!!

iPrayer Requests 2/3/12

Happy February!

The Love Month

....(according to Hallmark anyway.)

I am excited to pass on some good news, fun things, donation requests, and some prayer requests too!

First I wanted to start off by explaining the obvious lack of iPrayer Letters since December started! The last couple of months have been really really crazy in our house, and I assume yours too! The month of December was an emotional roller coaster (and you know how much I hate getting on those rides!)

December held several very difficult prayer requests, you know the ones that you are really to sad to write down? Also, with Christmas and birthdays, we had tons of excited happy days, and just the merry-go-round of activity of the Holidays. Also in my close family and friends, we have several birthdays that happen before and after Christmas and into January!

Praise #1: My nephew had his first birthday on November 30th!!! (Also, my oldest nephew turned 7 January 20th, and my daughter turned 5 yesterday!)

Request #1: The first day of December, one of our iPrayerLadies lost her husband. Their family are all members of my church and everyone was so very distressed. She has a daughter who is only 8, who has just lost her father. This made the holidays very bittersweet for our whole crew.

History: I am very sorry to tell everyone that Paul, Amanda's husband who we have prayed for so many times, passed away last night sitting on his couch watching tv. Let's pray for Amanda and her 8 yr old daughter, Abby. Let's pray for comfort, peace, strength, and the ability to get safely through the many stages of grief.
Amanda's Facebook Status December 2: I came home this evening and Paul had passed away on the couch watching tv. He has gone home to Jesus. Prayers appreciated.

Praise #2: Amanda and Abby seem to be handling the stress and grief well. Abby actually has been smiling so much at school from the idea of her Daddy being in heaven that she has gotten into conflicts with other kids telling her she should be crying more. I think it's sweet that she honestly would rather smile. :-)

Request #2: Then the last week of December, we lost one of our youth at church as well. He passed away on December 29th, after a Motorcross accident. Shocked and devastated would be a major understatement. Let us continue to keep Dylan's family in our prayers. He has a brother Matthew, a sister Kristen, as well as his parents Tony and Patty. Not to mention the many many friends and family to ask God to keep watch over. There were between 500-600 people that attended the visitation and funeral. This is from the email sent to us by the pastor:
History: Dylan's Passing...Once again, it's my sad duty to inform you of the passing of one of our fine young men.Dylan was working the FCA motocross camp in Georgia as a leader and had just finished leading morning chapel. He then headed to the track to do what he loved - when an accident occurred while he was riding. I, and many of Dylan's friends were at his side after the accident. Please pray for his family and visit Dylan's facebook page to see the outpouring of love for this young man of God.

Praise #3: As intense as this last month is, Dylan's brother Matthew, a student at UofL, has continued to come to church and even came back to work at the youth group last night. The enormous outpouring of support from the entire city helped I think, somewhat. Still please continue to pray.

Praise #4: Abby has just announced she wants to be baptized! This will be performed on March 18th!!!

Praise #5: Amanda and Abby have just bought a new house! They will be moving in around March 3rd if all goes well! This will be such a relief, for the sake of healing and for convenience. They will also need lots of help moving, so more info to come on that.

Request #3: Please pray for the group that is going on our church's upcoming mission trip to Honduras. Of the people we have been praying for above, Amanda, Matthew and his mother Patty are all going on the trip. This could be a very good time of healing for everyone.

Lastly, I wanted to share this email I got that shows a list of things they are trying to collect to take with them, and I thought if anyone wanted to send anything, you could contact me and I will get it to the church! The deadline is Feb. 17th.

Good Morning Ladies!

Several members of Forest Park will be leaving on Saturday, February 18, 2012 for a mission trip to Honduras. They will be packing 6-7 check-in suitcases at about 50 lbs each with items of great need for the area.  If you are able to help by bringing in some of the items listed below, please bring them to the next *think gathering on February 16th, or to church over the next three Sundays.  We will be collecting the items in the small room off the fellowship hall.  Also, if you have an old suitcase to donate, that would be greatly appreciated.  It can be used to take items to Honduras and then left for other groups to use.  Please let Derema know right away if you have a suitcase so Terry can quit searching.

Needed:
Reading glasses – dollar store ones are perfect
Used or new clothes – all sizes – especially baby and kids
Shoes – in really good condition
Dish towels
Towels
Wash clothes
Twin sheets
Toiletries

Small portable CD player
Thanks,
Derema
