iPrayer 3/1/13

iPrayer 3/1

Praise from Adrianna- Praising God that the girl scout cookies taste great again this year!! This time last year i was on chemo-treatments and they tasted awful!!

Request from K: Thank you for the prayers. i have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, and diverticulosis, so am use to some different pains. no extra pains.

Please pray for God's healing touch. I had my regular doctors appt last week. My liver functions have run a bit high for awhile and yesterday i got a call that my liver functions were up higher then usual and the doctor set up an ultrasound of my liver and more bloodwork today. the labs are checking for hepatitis. Praying God will bring good news! i'm thinking the doctor is just being thorough.
Trusting God in all things :)

Request from Shannon's Co-Worker Beth: Brothers and Sisters , we need your prayers! This young man is the son-in-law of my church friends.(Brandon) is fighting for his life in the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville after a brutal shooting. A bystander says Brandon was involved in a minor accident and it appeared that when Brandon reached for his glove compartment to get his registration, a man shot him through the window, thinking he was reaching for a gun; then dragged him out of the truck and shot him twice more. We're told the shooter was a bailiff (who carries a gun). Brandon and Heidi have an 11 day old son, as well as two other little boys. The family just met with the Dr's and the news in not good. The Dr. said that the chances that Brandon will ever leave Vanderbilt are very slim. However, he said that he didn't know for sure. He said that it was slightly possible.

The problem is that Brandon's heart stopped. They don't know for how long. This robbed his brain of oxygen. The Dr. Also said that if his heart stops, he will not try and bring him back. Bottom line. This is the kind of thing only God can fix. Please continue to declare life for Brandon. What we need is faithful prayers
