Sad news this morning from Shannon. We prayed this week for the son-in-law of her co-worker who was shot, and this morning we found out that he has passed away.
Request: Please pray for Heidi and her 3 sons, the littlest is less than 2 weeks old. :-(

Request from Shannon's Co-Worker Beth: Brothers and Sisters , we need your prayers! This young man is the son-in-law of my church friends.(Brandon) is fighting for his life in the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville after a brutal shooting. A bystander says Brandon was involved in a minor accident and it appeared that when Brandon reached for his glove compartment to get his registration, a man shot him through the window, thinking he was reaching for a gun; then dragged him out of the truck and shot him twice more. We're told the shooter was a bailiff (who carries a gun). Brandon and Heidi have an 11 day old son, as well as two other little boys.The family just met with the Dr's and the news in not good. The Dr. said that the chances that Brandon will ever leave Vanderbilt are very slim. However, he said that he didn't know for sure. He said that it was slightly possible. |
